Dr. Bruno is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her doctorate from Antioch University, Santa Barbara. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Long Beach Reach Inc., through the Derner Internship Consortium – Adelphi University, working with substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and those impacted by the substance use of others. Before joining CMC, Dr. Bruno was the Project Director of a community treatment center, overseeing the facility’s outpatient program and supervising staff. Dr. Bruno has worked with a diverse range of individuals, groups, couples, and families in various treatment settings, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and court-mandated programs, as well as schools, community, and government clinics. Dr. Bruno is also a certified yoga teacher for children, adults, and prenatal populations. She utilizes her training in movement and psychology to bring a strength-based, exploratory approach to wellness. Dr. Bruno is a member of the Women’s Mental Health Consortium and American Psychological Association.
