Dr. Barber is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked with CMC for over 15 years. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from The New School and her Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology from Harvard. Dr. Barber received advanced training in the treatment of substance use disorders at The Addiction Institute of New York and has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Barber has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups and integrates psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, motivational, and contemplative practices into her work. Dr. Barber also has worked extensively with couples and leads groups at CMC.
