Dr. Donnelly is a clinical psychologist licensed in New York, Maryland, and Washington DC. She is also a PSYPACT provider and can provide telehealth services in 40+ states. Dr. Donnelly earned her Masters in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College and her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University. She spearheads CMC’s satellite program in Washington, DC (CMC:DC). Before joining CMC, Dr. Donnelly oversaw a mental health and chemical dependency observation unit in a correctional setting. She has experience working in psychiatric emergency rooms, inpatient settings, and mobile crisis teams and has specialized training in crisis intervention and risk assessment. She is dedicated to the treatment of substance use disorders and compulsive behaviors utilizing evidence-based principles of Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Invitation to Change® (ITC), and CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training).
