Kathy Pruzan, PsyD

Dr. Pruzan is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her doctorate from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. She has been intimately involved in developing and managing the outpatient evaluation process at CMC. She also coordinates graduate internships at CMC and supervises CMC’s interns and postdoctoral fellows. Dr. Pruzan’s background is in the treatment of individuals who have difficulties with anxiety, mood disorders, and acting out behaviors. She has previous training experience utilizing DBT at Bellevue Hospital and completed her pre-doctoral internship at Green Chimneys, working with children and adolescents in residential and day treatment. Dr. Pruzan has also worked with people on the autism spectrum who have co-occurring substance abuse disorders. She has an interest in sport psychology and has worked with athletes at all levels on issues related to anxiety, mood, and substance abuse. She is an adjunct professor at Ferkauf Graduate School of Yeshiva University as well as at Weill Cornell Hospital’s Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship.
