Dr. Myers is a compassionate and skilled clinical psychologist licensed in New York, Massachusetts, and Florida. With specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dr. Myers is dedicated to helping people navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Dr. Myers earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, followed by an APA-accredited internship at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital. He further honed his expertise through a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he focused on treating anxiety. At McLean Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Dr. Myers worked with children and adolescents in an intensive outpatient clinic specializing in anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders. He brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by teens and young adults, especially those with comorbid anxiety and substance use disorders. 

Dr. Myers’ current work includes training family members of those with substance use issues in the Invitation to Change (ITC) approach at the CMC:Foundation for Change (CMC:FFC). Offering a warm, collaborative approach, he fosters a supportive and non-judgmental environment for his patients. He is passionate about breaking down the stigmas surrounding mental health and making quality care accessible to all. When appropriate, Dr. Myers integrates a harm reduction approach, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.
