Dr. Kaiser specializes in evidence-based treatment for substance use and co-occurring trauma. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium, and completed her predoctoral internship at the James J. Peters Bronx VA Hospital. Before this, she received clinical training at the Palo Alto VA, Stanford Addiction Medicine and Dual Diagnosis Clinic, and the Stanford Confidential Support Team, a clinic specializing in the support and treatment of college students affected by gender-based violence on campus. Her doctoral research focused on mindfulness-based interventions for substance use, particularly smoking cessation. Dr. Kaiser has completed specialized training in several evidence-based trauma protocols. and incorporates elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness into her work.
