Dr. Dubrow is a psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mood and trauma-related disorders. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from The New School for Social Research. She completed her predoctoral training at North Central Bronx Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital. She has experience providing individual and group therapy in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatric units, hospital-based outpatient mental health clinics, and private practice. She has more than eight years of research experience working on NIH-funded clinical trials examining the efficacy of behavioral substance use interventions at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. She uses DBT, motivational interviewing, ACT, CBT, CRAFT, and psychodynamic therapeutic frameworks to provide individualized and collaborative care.
