Dr. Lytle is trained in psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches to treatment. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University-Post with a concentration in substance use and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Dr. Lytle completed an APA-accredited internship at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare, Brooklyn Campus, where she worked with veterans suffering from PTSD and substance use. While at the VA, she worked in an intensive outpatient day program for veterans with a variety of psychological diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Dr. Lytle completed her post-doctoral training at CMC and worked with individuals and co-led various groups. Amanda has completed specialized training in various evidence-based trauma protocols, including PE, CPT and STAIR.
