CMC:Berkshires is a unique residential treatment program developed by leading clinical experts in the addiction treatment field. CMC:Berkshires is dedicated to the use of evidence-based treatments for substance use issues as well as anxiety disorders and trauma (MI, CRA, CRAFT, DBT, Prolonged Exposure, STAIR), provided across group, individual, and family therapy venues. The setting for these holistic, compassionate, and evidence-based treatments is our 13-bed private facility, located in the stunning and cultured Berkshires of Western Massachusetts on 200 acres.

Full-Time Clinician position*

Compensation: $60,000 to $100,000 Annually

CMC:Berkshires is seeking a passionate, motivated clinician with a strong interest in evidence-based addiction treatment as well as the treatment of co-occurring disorders. Position includes providing intensive individual therapy (motivationally and behaviorally focused) to all assigned clients (maximum caseload of 3 clients), as well as potential for group therapy involvement (group modalities include use of ACT, DBT and CBT). Potential for program development in particular areas of interest (pain, sleep etc), as well as supervision of adjunctive staff. CMC:Berkshires is dedicated to creating and maintaining a collaborative, supportive environment between all staff as well as with clients as a critical part of creating the optimal conditions for change. *Psychologist preferred, will consider Post-Doctoral Fellow or Master’s Level Licensed Social Worker with 5+ years’ experience. Early career or seasoned clinicians welcomed to apply. Salary range commensurate with experience.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • PhD/PsyD preferred (Post-doctoral/Master’s level candidates will be considered)
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Background in use of evidence-based clinical approaches to addiction and mental health issues strongly preferred
