Zoren Degtyarev, is a predoctoral clinical intern completing his Ph.D. from Adelphi University in New York. He has gained a wide range of clinical experiences working with adults in inpatient and outpatient settings, including state psychiatric and public hospitals and University counseling centers. Working with clients from diverse cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds has enriched his understanding of the complexities and sensitivities required for clinical work. Zoren employs evidence-based treatment to treat individuals and couples suffering from substance use disorders, anxiety, depression and trauma. His clinical thinking and approach are broadly integrative. Zoren has training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, ACT, motivational interviewing, and prolonged exposure. He strives to pragmatically integrate complementary treatment perspectives and interventions to provide efficient client services.
