Elyse Blake, MA is a clinical psychology intern in her 5th doctoral program year in Clinical Psychology at Adelphi University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Psychology in Education from Teachers College Columbia University and a Master’s in Women’s Studies and Feminist Research from Western University in Ontario, Canada. Elyse has received clinical training in a variety of settings including private practice, college counseling, and community clinics. By fostering a therapeutic environment built upon respect, compassion, and encouragement, Elyse integrates insight oriented techniques with evidence based behavioral therapies. She is passionate about helping people gain a better sense of autonomy and direction in their lives.
